Seniors Dating is a farmer dating service created by rural Americans, for rural Americans 55 and older - because country folks deserve a dating home that actually feels like one.

A Mission Rooted in Rural America
We started Seniors Dating in 2023 around a kitchen table in western Iowa, after one of our founders watched her widowed father - a 71-year-old row-crop farmer - quietly close three generic dating apps in a single afternoon. He had been matched with women in Chicago who asked if he could "come into the city for drinks." He could not. He was up at 4:30 a.m. every morning with the cows.
Most farmer dating websites were either decades old, run by companies that had never set foot on a farm, or built for a 28-year-old swiping on a phone. None of them were built for him, or for the millions of widowed, divorced, and never-married rural singles over 55 who still believe in porch swings, Sunday church, and a handshake that means something.
So we built one.

Why Country Singles Over 55 Deserve Better
Loneliness was considered one of the top health risks for seniors even before the pandemic pushed depression rates to an all-time high. For rural Americans 55 and older, the problem is sharper still: fewer neighbors, fewer local gathering places, and - after the loss of a spouse - sometimes miles of quiet road between home and the nearest friendly face.
Roughly 70% of farmer dating service members over 70 are widowed. Another large share are divorced after long marriages. These are not people looking for a fling. The People Behind Seniors Dating
A small team split between a farmhouse office in western Iowa and a second desk in Nashville, Tennessee.
Our founders grew up on working farms. Our moderators are retired teachers, nurses, and ag-extension agents who understand the rhythm of rural life. Our support team is based entirely in the United States and answers the phone themselves - no overseas call centers, no chatbots pretending to be Karen from accounting.
We are not the biggest farmer dating website in America, and we are not trying to be. We are trying to be the one that your sister-in-law, your pastor, and your grown children would feel good about you joining. That is a higher bar, and we keep it on purpose.
