Identity Verification
A PCI-compliant partner checks your ID against your selfie, confirms a match, and then deletes the ID image.
Plain English. No legal fog. Here's exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have as a member of our farmers dating community.

Seniors Dating is a farmers dating site for rural singles 55 and older. We built this site for members who value privacy, honesty, and a handshake that still means something. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it - written the way we'd explain it to a neighbor over coffee.
We only collect what we need to help you meet a real match and keep scammers off the site. Here's the full list.
When you create a profile, you share your name, email address, date of birth, gender, state or county, a few photos, and the details you choose to add - faith, interests, what farm life means to you, whether you're widowed or divorced. You decide how much to share, and you can edit or remove anything later.
To earn a green Verified badge and keep scammers out, we ask for a government-issued ID and a selfie. Our verification partner compares the two, confirms a match, and then the ID image is deleted from our systems. We keep only a record that verification was completed.
We store the messages you send on the platform so our scam filters and human review team can act on reports. We do not read private messages for marketing. We never sell or share message content.
If you choose a paid membership, your card details go directly to our payment processor (a PCI-compliant third party). We only see the last four digits, the billing ZIP, and your renewal date - never your full card number.
Like most websites, we automatically log your IP address, browser type, device, and which pages you viewed. This helps us fix bugs, block suspicious logins, and keep the site running smoothly on older computers and phones.
We do not use your data to build advertising profiles or to train outside AI systems.
A cookie is a small text file a website saves on your computer so it remembers you - kind of like a dog-eared bookmark in a paperback. We use three kinds:
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Our support team can walk you through it by phone if that's easier.
We use a small, carefully chosen group of U.S.-based service providers. Each signs a contract that limits them to the specific task we hired them for.
A PCI-compliant partner checks your ID against your selfie, confirms a match, and then deletes the ID image.
A major U.S. card processor handles billing. Your full card number never touches our servers.
We send match alerts and support replies through an opt-out email service. You control which messages you receive.
A privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not track you across other websites. No personal profiles are built.
No matter which state you live in, you have the following rights at Seniors Dating. Many states (California, Colorado, Virginia, and others) guarantee these by law; we give them to everyone.
We keep your profile data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete most personal details within 7 days. A small amount of information - billing records, safety logs, and records of serious policy violations - is kept for up to 7 years to meet U.S. tax and consumer-protection laws.
Verification ID images are deleted as soon as verification is confirmed. Messages older than two years are archived in encrypted storage and no longer visible to our support team unless a legal request requires them.
Our site uses HTTPS encryption on every page. Passwords are hashed - meaning even our engineers cannot see them. Access to member data is limited to a small U.S.-based support and safety team, each of whom passes a background check and signs a confidentiality agreement. No system is perfect, but we treat your information the way we'd treat a neighbor's front door key.
Seniors Dating is for adults 18 and older, and our community is built around singles 55 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, please contact us and we'll remove the account immediately.
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a fresh "Last Updated" date at the top. For meaningful changes, we'll email every active member at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
If you have a question about this policy, want a copy of your data, or need help closing an account for yourself or a loved one:
We reply within two business days. Also see our Terms & Conditions and Safety Tips.
